Students can check out the websites of the DSOs to get a sense of the services and supports that the college offers for students with disabilities. It’s important to note that college admissions committees don’t know if a student got extra time on the ACT or SAT unless the student discloses it. They may have overcome something that they want to talk about in their college essays, but they don’t have to disclose a disability. Additionally, discussion of a disability might also be a part of the student’s personal narrative.
